Dear Backers,

We’d like to share what we’ve been working on over the past month.

We had a valuable window of time to double- and triple-check the electronics performance. This included extensive temperature chamber testing, with repeated hot–cold cycles to ensure stable performance across a wide range of conditions.

At the same time, we continued refining the firmware to make sure CycleClick remains consistently precise in all weather and temperature scenarios. As you know, our benchmark is Favero Assioma. Below are graphs from one of our latest tests:

Blue line: Favero Assioma, Red line: CycleClick.

As you can see, CycleClick shows very stable performance. Firmware optimization is ongoing, but we’ve now fully validated the electronics design, and the first batch of electronics is officially in production.

On the manufacturing side, we’re developing specialized tooling that will allow strain gauges to be glued in a highly consistent manner during mass production - an important step for accuracy and repeatability at scale.

We’ve also completed the design of the mount for 1x drivetrain systems. You can see a prototype and the overall concept in the video below.

With the design finalized, we’re ready to place orders for the plastic parts.
As always, we’ll keep you posted as we continue moving forward.
Wishing you a Happy New Year, and thank you for your continued support!
