BikeOn E-drive Safety Instructions

Your safety is paramount when using the BikeOn E-drive. Please take note of the following safety instructions to ensure the safe and proper operation of your BikeOn:

1) Rotor Safety Pin: After installing BikeOn on your wheel, secure the rotor safety pin in place. Before each ride, double-check to confirm that the rotor safety pin is securely in position. To unlock BikeOn, use the supplied pin remover to push the pin out.

2) Power Safety: Do not attempt to power up the device before it is fully installed on the bicycle. THE DEVICE SHOULD NEVER BE POWERED ON IF IT IS NOT SECURELY ATTACHED TO THE BIKE. ENSURE THE DEVICE IS POWERED DOWN, WITH THE BATTERY TURNED OFF OR COMPLETELY DISCONNECTED, DURING INSTALLATION AND ANY ADJUSTMENTS.

3) Connecting The Power Cord: When connecting the power cord to BikeOn and the battery, ensure that the plugs are fully inserted. An unreliable connection can result in damage to the battery or the device.

4) Force Balancer: To better balance the forces between BikeOn and the bicycle, we strongly recommend attaching the force balancer, which is included in your package, to the seat stay tube. For more details, please refer to our instructional video.

5) Do Not Touch Moving Parts: When BikeOn is powered on and/or when in operation, avoid touching or reaching for any moving parts, such as the motorized belt or any exposed gears. Keep your hands and clothing clear of these components to prevent accidents or injuries. Ensure your shoelaces, clothing, or any other objects cannot get caught in moving parts.

6) Do Not Disassemble: The BikeOn device contains complex electronic and mechanical components. Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, or repair the device yourself. If you encounter any issues, please contact our customer support for assistance. TAMPERING WITH HOLOGRAM SEALS VOIDS THE RETURN.

7) Battery Safety:

  • Use only the provided charger and accessories.
  • Do not puncture, disassemble, or expose the battery to high temperatures, as this can result in fire or explosion.
  • When connecting the cord to the battery, ensure that the plug is fully inserted.
  • Charge the battery with an approved charger.
  • Unplug the charger when not in use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

8) Follow Local Laws: When using BikeOn on public roads, adhere to local laws, traffic regulations, and safety guidelines. Wear appropriate safety gear and follow responsible riding practices.

9) Children and Pets: Keep the BikeOn device, battery, and any associated components out of the reach of children and pets to avoid accidents or potential damage.

By following these safety instructions, you can ensure the safe and efficient operation of your BikeOn device. Remember, your safety and the safety of those around you are of the utmost importance.
